We are finding this "Next Food Network Star" series better than some in the past. Penny was awful, and we were amazed she stayed so long! (Could any of them imagine WORKING with her?)

Frankly, we find some of the past "stars" to be awful:
Guy Fieri, for example, is another loudmouth, obnoxious type. We never watch him.
Duff Goldman is terrific, and we look forward to his new series.

I can't stand anyone who talks with a mouth full of food. How disgusting!

I would watch Duff. Maybe I'm in the wrong time zone, but most of the shows are DDD! How many times can you watct the same shows? I have reverted to watching DIY, maybe I'll be the next "I Hate My Kitchen" makeover. Better than watching re-runs of DDD. I love sugary stuff, hopefully Duff's new show will be a hit.

What I want to know is why they have contestants on it that can't cook. I don't want to watch Mellissa just because she has a nice smile. Really I love to cook and I would never watch her. I want to watch someone who can cook!

I am wondering why on the Food Channel, the programs featuring new female chefs insist on dressing them in low cut tops so when they bend over their food preparations, cleavage is displayed. Isn’t this suppose to be all about food not body parts. I am seeing these low cut revealing tops on females daily especially that 5 ingredient show host.
