Award-winning blogger and best-selling cookbook author Ree Drummond is bringing her down-home recipes to Food Network on August 27 in her new show, The Pioneer Woman. Over the past five years, Drummond has chronicled her life as a big-city-gal-turned-rancher’s-wife on her remarkable food and lifestyle blog. Now, she gives fans an inside look into her family’s picturesque Oklahoma ranch as she offers a slice of frontier life mixed with hearty family meals and elegant menus for entertaining.

“Ree’s easy-going humor and down-to-earth approach to food and life have won her millions of devoted fans online,” says Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Programming and Production for Food Network. “Now, in The Pioneer Woman, she welcomes us into the vibrant and beautiful home she has created and demonstrates how she makes her simple yet delicious variations on traditional American fare into memorable mealtimes for family and friends.”

hey Ree, i became a huge fan after seeing The Pioneer Woman on the Cooking channel. i watch the show all the time now. when i first found out about it, i was visiting a friend in Florida. i was hooked from day one. we don`t get the Cooking Channel back home in Canada, so i was disappointed when i wasn`t able to see your show. then HGTV started airing your show, and now i watch it every time its on.

my name is Wes, i live in Ontario Canada, i am 63 years old, and i love to cook and bake. i started watching your show for tips on new ways to prepare food and for new recipes. i saw the episode where you made the red velvet cake, today. i make the exact same icing as you. i started using it about 8 to 10 years ago, when my niece got a cookbook for bakes sales at any school. i like it best as it calls for less sugar. i use it for all my icings. i add 2 tablespoons of cocoa to the pan when i want a chocolate icing. it works quite well too. thanks you for your time, Wes Chambers AKA bakersman94!!

Unfortunately, she has no more talent than millions of other home cooks and I don't think she has endurance, either.

Hate to burst your bubble, but plenty of people in Columbia, Tennessee have already seen through her load of "keepin' it real" and realized she's a fake who can't cook.

Everybody else in Columbia TN? Just what is the population there? Interesting that you can speak for everybody…………
