Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off: New Show Premieres This Winter by FN Dish Editor in Shows, July 29th, 2011
Two of Food Network’s most popular personalities, Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri, are going head-to-head in a new series premiering this winter, Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off. Both Rachael and Guy will serve as coaches and mentors to eight multi-talented celebrities — from an Olympic gold medalist to Grammy-winning artists to a Golden Globe-nominated actor — contestants who are all passionate about food and cooking.
Divided into Team Rachael and Team Guy, the contestants will face intense weekly challenges that are sure to have them working, fighting and laughing as they race against the clock to prepare elaborate meals for up to 150 guests. The winning and losing teams will be chosen by the guest diners and after six episodes, the last celebrity standing will win a cash donation to his or her favorite charity.
The show’s all-star line-up includes:
• Summer Sanders: two-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer and national sportscaster
• Lou Diamond Phillips: Golden Globe-nominated actor (Stand and Deliver, SGU Stargate Universe)
• Aaron Carter: Multi-platinum-selling recording artist and actor (Popstar, Supercross)
• Joey Fatone: Singer, actor, television personality and founding member of top-selling supergroup *NSync
• Taylor Dayne: Chart-topping recording star and actress (Broadway’s Aida, television’s Nightman)
• Coolio: Grammy-winning hip-hop artist
• Cheech Marin: Grammy-winning comedian, screenwriter and actor (Judging Amy, Cars 2)
• Alyssa Campanella: Winner, Miss USA 2011 and Runner-Up, Miss Teen USA 2007

IF that stupid dummie Lou Diamond Phillips or whatever his name is, ever sees this, I would be so happy. He's a pathetic cocky ass loser who pretends like he is sooooo important, whenever most of us don't even know who he is… so he mentioned. "La Bamba," and I had to go look it up. Wow, Mr. you were in one decently big hit of a movie over 20 years ago, and now you think you are "Mr. Big Shot?" You say you have been in over 80 movies, or whatever, but WHO CARES because know one knows who you are!!!! OMG. If I could count how many cocky arrogant pathetic acting teachers like you who existed in the world, I would run out of hands. Stop living in your past, and do something new with your life, and stop pretending like you are some flipping amazing celebrity. Brad Pitt doesn't even act as "special" as you. Get a flipping life. LOSER.
Get a grip. It was a show for "charity" for goodness sake. I was thinking that Coolio would pull it off but I'm glad for LDP's charity of "Share our Strength – No Kid Hungry". $50,000 will go a long way in feeding needy children.
I'm super happy that hs charity got $50,000, and I did not lash out because he won.. I didn't even know he won. I couldn't even finish watching the show because I couldn't listen to continue to him talk about and brag about himself anymore. It's not about the competition. He just ruined the show for me because he's so full of himself, and I was tired of watching him act so arrogant.
Tina, have a little respect for an actor who has paid his dues many years before you learned to appreciate other people and their talents ! What makes you so great!
I didn't say I was so great, but I don't go around pretending like I'm the best thing in the world. He's just arrogant and cocky and full of himself. It's such a bad way for a person to portray themself, no matter what they've done in life… especially some one like him who most of us haven't even heard of.

LDP is a self riteous douche. I’m sure he’s about to open a chain of self glorifying wanna be fine dining restaraunts. I will never step foot in one. However, the day Coolio opens a place that glorifies the memory of his mama I will drive over night to be there, hell…I might even start listening to RAP now.

Celebrity show?, why not Real people cook show!, becouse today the life is hard and everything is expensive that we do need to know how to cook a healthy meal, and not so expensive for our families.
