Enter For a Chance To Win a Copy of Guy Fieri’s New Cookbook: Guy Fieri Food by Michelle Buffardi in Books, Contests, June 8th, 2011

Guy Fieri and his dad prefer to spend Father’s Day grilling out in Guy’s Santa Rosa, CA backyard over a restaurant dinner to celebrate their special day. For the Fieri’s, cooking is a multi-generational family affair — Guy’s kids get involved, cooking alongside their dad and grandfather. They plan the menu well in advance, choosing recipes that everyone loves and that everyone can help cook, too. For inspiration, they look no further than Guy’s new cookbook, Guy Fieri Food — now a New York Times bestseller — for recipes spanning Guy’s whole career.
To celebrate dads everywhere (and Guy’s book making the bestsellers’ list) we’re giving away 3 copies of Guy Fieri Food! All you have to do is let us know, here in the comments, how you’re celebrating Father’s Day this year. Do you and dad cook together, or does he prefer a restaurant meal? Do you whip up a special dessert just for him, or grill him a juicy steak? We’re giving away one copy of the cookbook to three randomly-selected, and very lucky commenter’s.
You may only comment once to be considered, and you don’t have to purchase anything to win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on total number of entries. Void where prohibited. Only open to legal residents of the 50 U.S., D.C. or Puerto Rico, and you must be at least 18 years of age to win. All entries (comments) must be entered between 12 p.m. ET on June 8th and 5 p.m. ET on June 10th. Subject to full Official Rules. So tell us, what are you making for dad?

My Dad passed away 16 years ago..since then on Father’s Day I cook his favorite meal and enjoy it. My Dad and I were very close..we could just look at each other an know what the other was thinking. He taught me how to hunt, fish, shoot skeet and trap and pretty much how to live off the land. He was Great!! and I really miss him.
I will have the family over and fix grandpa's favorite ribs. I cook out for the family all the time but they always ask for the ribs on special times. Like Fathers day.
Making with my dad his favorite…chocolate dipped strawberries!
Burgers stuffed with gorgonzola and applewood smoked bacon!
I will take my husband out for a que dinner and then fire up the grill (or smoker) on Father's day and celebrate with Dad and Hubby! Smoked butt, baked beans and blue cheese cole slaw sounds pretty darn good!
I'm barbequing Dad his favorite–steaks! There will also be sides of potato salad, green salad, watermelon, and homemade apple pie for dessert too.
I'm taking my dad out to eat at the Tahoe Joe's diner for Father's Day.
Just keeping it simple because my dad likes it that way, so will have an enjoyable meal to celebrate at a restaurant.
I always enjoy having dad over for a meal and father's day is no exception. I could serve him just about anything. He really enjoys my home cooking and since he lives alone he enjoys coming to spend time with us. I usually like to have him over the day before so we can have a campfire and barb-que and make a weekend out of it .
We will be grilling pork burgers for sure. First fathers day in the Hills house after 5 years of trying. The arrival of Joleigh and Jeremiah, yes twins, make this year special. They are miracles coming home after being born 3 months premature and are 100% healthy.
