Wow!
This is the 1st show I caught with Marcela and have been hooked ever since. My husband & I love to listen to her talk and the recipes are to die for. I did the shrimp appetizers and I have to admit being mexican myself sure do miss these flavors. I have as staples in my kitchen torillas if I do not make them myself., cilantro, jalpenos if not fresh in the yard along with all the herbs. My MBFF saw me cooking tortillas over an open flame and thought I was nuts. I grew doing it like that. I brought back so many memories. And Eva avacado dip is the way we always made it delcious! Love mexican food just do not eat as often. I do not eat bread or torillas with every meal either.. Some of the combinations can put on the pounds . But if you stay away from beans and rice with each meal and tortillas it can be done more often.
