Food Network Fun Fact #2

Alton Brown’s Point of View in Kitchen Stadium, fully stocked with yellow sticky notes.

FACT: It takes four to five hours to produce an episode of Iron Chef America. Many contestants, including Iron Chef Michael Symon, have been badly cut, burned, battered and bruised, but we have never stopped the clock during a battle!

  1. *smiling* Has Joe ever thought about writing a book? Seriously! A coffee table book with historic pictures from past and present, anecdotes and tales of Oreo cookies and Iron Chef. He’d make bank!
(I get 10% for the idea) *wink*

  2. What an interesting tidbit…Iron Chef truly is a battle zone! With all the drama that takes place in kitchen stadium its hard to believe the clock has never stopped! Alton Brown’s post is fantastic. With all of the views and sticky notes it’s amazing that he can keep everything straight! Yet, he does an amazing job guiding the viewer through each episode!
