My favorite place when I lived and worked in Topeka, KS, was Terry’s Bar and Grill. It was the hangout for the newspaper folks — if we needed a sports reporter and none were in the newsroom, we called Terry’s looking for them. Great burgers, ice cold beer, fried mushrooms (my favorite), everything there was greasy and yummy!

Loved the Arizona Gelato DDD- it was fast-paced, full of energy and Guy had so much fun mixing the Gelatos. He said his tongue was frozen to the spoon! The Gelato’s were amazing and made me want to have a few. Just pure fun and sizzle!

Two co-workers and myself went to a conference in Miami Beach. We heard about Scully’s Tavern. After an 80.00 cab ride we found the Tavern. It was a great story to bring back, we had a great time after the 1.5 hour rush-hour trip. We have pics of us at Scully’s.

Cool. Now that the contest is over, I’ll share my fav dive. There’s this little Italian place in my hometown, Buddy’s Italian Restaurant. Their food is quite good – but they’re known far and wide for their Buddy’s Salads. It’s all about the salad dressing – more liquid garlic with a bit of oil and vinegar, than anything else, and a blend of top secret spices, the recipe for which is known to only two living people on the planet! lol

Just three nights before taping “Guy’s Big Night,” Guy had a taste of the salad dressing, thought it was delicious and dipped in for a second taste. And now he, too, is a member of the I-Have-Buddy’s-Breath club!

My favorite place hands down would have to be Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert, AZ. Saw it on Triple D and went there and oh my the food is to die for, especially the garlic fries! They give you garlic breath but totally worth it! I go there at least once a week!

How could I not love the Eveready Diner in Hyde Park, NY, the perfect spot for morning waffles or eggs Benedict, a delicious wrap for lunch with “stay crisp” French fries, or comforting chicken and biscuits for dinner. Let’s not forget their incredible cheesecakes for a treat after seeing a movie at the Roosevelt Theater just up the street.

If you're ever in Oklahoma, you must try Hank's Hamburgers located on East Admiral, Tulsa. Three generations of my family have eaten the BEST HAMBURGER ever! However, don't blink or you will miss it!
