My favorite Triple D place and episode was when Guy went to Cemitas Puebla in Chicago! Talk about heaven on a sandwich! The meat, peppers, avocado..yummy..I love when Guy described the queso Oaxaca as “queso alotta”. Plus if Guys says a sandwich is bananas, you know its good! Is Guy looking for an intern?!?!

  2. My favorite diner is Rudford’s, on “The Boulevard” in San Diego. Rudford’s has been around since the 1940s and is one of the last good old-fashioned 24-hour diners in town. What I love most about Rudford’s – more than the fantastic short stack or the grilled cheese sandwich – is the true come-as-you-are style. I know that one could walk in to Rudford’s not having bathed in a month or in a tuxedo or ball gown and no one would look twice. It is a true neighborhood institution and a place I can go to whenever I want simple, great food with no fuss and total comfort. Rudford’s is perfect at the end of a long day!

My favorite drivein is the Varsity in Atlanta, Ga. It has the best hotdogs, onion rings, fried peach pies and a shake called a Frosty Orange. It is the largest drivein in the world. Presidential politicians, famous people and just great people like me love to go there. It is well known, and do not be surprised when they ask you” what’ll you have”. You must go there!!!!! You have been to my favorite diner ” The Marietta Diner”. You have to go to ” The Varsity”. There is even a book written on the history of the 70 years it has been open.

Favorite Show? Every single one of them. Most especially the ones that were done in Minnesota. But make no mistake. The Triple D is my show of choice.

  5. Linda Lenard says:

My favorite Diner is “ANY DINER”…haven’t found one yet that I don’t like and the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives that Guy shows are “MONEY”!!!

  6. Dennis Herskowitz says:

I travel extensively due to my job & it’s fun seeing Guy visit someplace I’ve been. But Guy needs to visit “Dot’s Diner” on Williams Ave in Kenner, LA. It’s a dump, but the food is great, & the waitress’ are “truck stop fun !”

  7. Mark Miller says:

The fried bologna sandwiches at Nadines in Pittsburg looked fantastic a lot better than the fried bologna sandwiches I had as a kid !!!!

  8. Eric Streetman says:

I have to agree with Trudy Mitchell. The Varsity in Atlanta, GA is the best drive-in on the planet! All of their food is so good! “What’ll ya have?!”

  9. J.L. Ogden says:

We absolutely love The Doghouse in New Castle, Delaware. They have many things on the menu but we always order the footlong chili cheese dogs and fries.Sitting at the counter you are about 5 feet away from the grill and get to watch these guys as they create a masterpiece. Maybe some day I’ll try a cheesesteak or something else…nahhh…the chili cheese dogs are too awesome to change!

  10. Jeanine Garcia says:

Love Guy's show, and him and how he gets so excited when the food is really good. Have to say the show done is Michigan, just because that's where I am from. Nice to see your spending some of your money on bling !!!!! Come back to Michigan because there is lots more dinners and divis.
